DanzTeam Reaches Out to Lower School Girls at Lock-In
“I love watching the DanzTeam interact with the young girls,” Price said. “I can see how much the younger girls adore the LCS Dancers.”
“Friendships are developed at the lock-in that continue at school and at games as the years go by,” Price said.
This year, approximately 55 girls in the second through the sixth grade attended.
The night is well-organized by the DanzTeam. The DanzTeam teaches a short routine to the girls who attend and holds a fashion show where each girl has a chance to walk on the stage to show her personality and a crazy outfit.
“We also play tons of games in the gym,” said Price.
“This year, we made bracelets that reflected Jesus,” said Price.
The fun night ends with a movie, and eventually the girls fall asleep on their palettes of blankets in the cafeteria around midnight, most likely dreaming about next year’s lock-in.
