The Online Campus continues to make great strides in its preparation for the 2010-2011 school year. Last week they were featured on KWRD’s radio program “Consumer Magazine” with host Ron Taylor on the Word 100.7 FM. Interviewed were Rob Shiflet, president of the Online Campus, and Michelle Simms, director of communications for the Online Campus.
Also on the program was a special guest, sixth grader Hannah Jenkins from Ohio, who shared her great experiences with the Online Campus when she recently took one of their enrichment courses. Shiflet said, “She was the star of the program.”
Jenkins spoke about her excitement over the Online Campus’ class that was held in January and February called, “Reading Between the Lions – Discovering the Deeper Meaning,” where she explored the fascinating allegory behind the C.S. Lewis masterpiece, “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe,” as the class focused on the rich spiritual meaning behind the story and its characters.
Also featured on the program was a great endorsement from Josh McDowell in his voice, which is a must-listen for anyone sharing news about the Online Campus or is considering enrolling for next year.
