Liberty Baseball Wins Third Place at Killeen Tournament
Last weekend the Warrior Baseball team earned the third place trophy in the Killeen Shoemaker Classic Tournament.
In the tournament on Thursday, Liberty beat Austin Travis, 15-0, and Harker Heights, 14-2. Liberty pitchers Michael Smith and Jared Cook threw a combined no-hitter versus Austin Travis.
On Friday, Liberty won over Waco High, 11-4, but lost a tough one to previously beaten Harker Heights, 6-2.
On Saturday, Liberty beat PF Connally, 11-7, to earn the third place trophy.
Liberty baseball players Chad Nack and Neal Bohannon earned All-Tournament Honors.
