Warrior Softball Continues to Win

The Lady Warriors now stand 6-2 in district after two wins this past week. With both games being played at home, the Warriors’ bats came alive with a 7-3 win over Southwest and a 19-0 win versus Temple Christian.  

Temple’s game was senior night, and the Warriors’ three seniors, Mallory Rossmann, Ashley Kowalewski, and Alex Whitby, were honored with flowers and a game ball. 

Head coach Bruce Gundlach said that the game started with the parents of the seniors throwing out the first pitch. 

“This should become a new tradition,” said Gundlach. 

Next up is a single non-district game at home against the Texas Home Educators’ Sports Association’s team on Tuesday, April 20, at 4:30 p.m., and a doubleheader district matchup at home versus Midland Christian this Thursday, May 22, at noon and 2 p.m.
