Regional Track Meet at Liberty on Friday

The 2010 TAPPS North-3A and North-4A regional track meet will be held at Liberty this Friday.
“It is great we have the opportunity to host the regional meet again this year at Liberty Christian School,” said girls head track coach Jamie Michalek.

“We had three district champions from the meet last week – Ashley Kowalewski in pole vault, Kelsie Finch in shot put, and Sydney Brynn in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter!
“We have 22 girls competing in the regional meet this year and have a good chance to advance many of those to the state meet at Baylor next weekend,” said Michalek.
Along with the 4A North Region, Liberty is also hosting the 3A North Region.
“These meets are a good opportunity to get more kids from other schools on our campus as well as give our athletes a little more time to rest between events,” said Michalek.
“With both regions together, we have 29 schools represented this Friday.”
The meet begins at Liberty at 8 a.m. Friday, and the schedule is as follows:
