This Week – Teacher Appreciation Week!
During the week of May 3–7, Liberty families give teachers their thanks and appreciation for the effort, attention, and time they give students every day.
Take advantage of this week and give your child’s teacher your appreciation. Something special each day has been planned.
Monday – A parent from your child’s classroom volunteers to bring a delicious snack to the teacher.
Tuesday – All parents are asked to send a note of appreciation to their child’s teacher.
Wednesday – Room parents coordinate a luncheon for teachers and staff provided by volunteer parents from each classroom.
Thursday – All children are asked to take the time at home to draw a picture or write a note of appreciation for their teacher and deliver it on this day.
Friday: Breakfast will be provided for the teachers and staff by Liberty’s National Honor Society.
Also on Friday, students are asked to bring an item to fill a “teacher supply” basket. The room parent provides the basket for each class, and students are asked to bring items to fill it, such as stickers, sticky notes, note cards, stamps and stamp pad, scented markers, etc.
Thank you in advance for making this week such a special time for Liberty teachers.
