Middle School Students Recognized at Academic Convocation
The Middle School Academic Convocation was held on Thursday, May 20, and awards were given to students in recognition of their hard work across numerous academic disciplines. The most outstanding student in each section of each subject was recognized, as well as the overall outstanding student in each subject. Students were also recognized for achieving all A’s in every subject during each grading period.
President Dr. Rodney Haire addressed students and their parents, while Middle School Principal Dr. Martin Noto acted as master of ceremonies for the evening. Dr. Noto said, “I was overwhelmed at the maturity of our ‘Middie’ students and greatly impressed by the skill, knowledge, and spiritual maturity of our faculty and staff.”
“These were the elements that made a highly successful school year,” he said.
