Last week, Liberty Christian finished second in the boys team standings in a tournament at the Bridges Golf Club in Gunter, Texas. The Warriors shot 314 as a team, only one stroke behind Grapevine High School’s 313 score.

Freshman Javier Manrique won the individual boys title in a scorecard playoff with teammate, senior Ty Dunlap. Both fired a 1-under par round of 71.

Other finishers for Liberty included Jared Sutter (84), Tanner Anderson (88) and Carson Dowdle (94).

Manrique and Dunlap shot the low boys round and tied. Manrique won the scorecard playoff and was the first place winner for the boys.

On the girls side, senior Maria Manrique was the individual gold medalist with a 3-over round of 75. Junior Kelsie Finch shot a 92, and senior Brandi Trost shot a 101.

Congratulations Warriors!
