Girls Soccer Opens Season with Win in Double Overtime
Senior Madison Oliver scored a goal in the second overtime as Liberty Christian opened its season with a 1-0 win over Fort Worth Nolan on Monday.
Oliver’s goal came off a corner kick from senior Leah Cox as the Lady Warriors defeated Nolan, which advanced to the state title game in TAPPS Division I last season.
Sophomore Sara Martinson had several critical saves in posting the shutout in goal for Liberty.
