Boys Basketball Beats 5A Keller High
Tuesday night the Warriors took a road trip to play the Indians of Keller High School. The Warriors headed into the game with an 11-3 record looking to get their first win against a 5A public school.
After overcoming a second half deficit of six points and a hostile opposing crowd, the Warriors regained momentum midway through the fourth quarter to pull out a 50-46 win over the Indians.
LCS was led by a dominating 30-point performance by Kyle Kuykendall, as well as Pres McKissack and Joe Honeysett who spent most of the game handling Keller’s defensive pressure.
The Warriors look to continue their success as they compete in the Scott Bagg Invitational this upcoming weekend at Keller Central and Fossil Ridge High School.
