After a crazy week of bad weather, boys basketball took on Prestonwood on Saturday, Feb. 5. After a tough battle where the Warriors kept the lead within two points until the third quarter, Prestonwood pulled away with a 52-42 victory. The Warriors were led by seniors Kyle Kuykendall with 12 and Hunter Dansby with 11.

After the loss to Prestonwood, the Warriors looked to bounce back against John Paul on Tuesday night. The Warriors were up by six at halftime, but it wasn’t enough to hold off John Paul for long. After another great effort from the Warriors, they came up short 42-34. Kuykendall led the Warriors with 10 and junior Brad Horton contributed with 9.

The Warriors will conclude the 2010–2011 regular season with a two-game home stand against Trinity Christian tonight and Bishop Dunne on Monday, Feb. 14.

Tonight is senior night for Pres McKissack, Hunter Dansby, Kyle Kuykendall, Eric Heidelman, and Joe Honeysett. The Warriors will add a twist to senior night by suiting up team manager Chance McClure. If the opportunity arises, Coach Kornet will put McClure into the game as the Warriors look to top TCA in front of a packed gym.
