Liberty Christian is the only school in TAPPS 5A to place in the top six in all four Fine Arts areas: academics and speech, art, vocal music, and instrumental music!

Twenty-two Liberty students who advanced from district competition combined their talents and efforts and tied for second in state at the TAPPS Academic Competition held the first weekend in April.

“Liberty students have done it again!” said Misty Baptiste, fine arts department chair. “This is a truly amazing feat in our first year in the largest division in TAPPS.

“I could not be more proud and excited. A special thanks goes to teachers Debra Cook, Becky Shirley, Marshall Surratt, Missy Sharp, Kathy Hall, Steve Cook, Kirk Holland, and Rhonda Smith, who spent time and energy preparing these students and traveling to contests.”
