Choir Receives Superior Rating at State
Liberty Christian is the only school in TAPPS 5A to place in the top six in all four Fine Arts areas: academics and speech, art, vocal music, and instrumental music!
The Liberty Christian Chorale scored a superior rating of a “1” on Saturday, April 8, at the TAPPS State in Belton, Texas. Its Colla Voce and Dolci Voci also brought home a “1.” All of the solos earned an excellent rating of a “2.”
“The choir had a wonderful day at State on Saturday,” said Ann Smith, Chorale director. “The judging was very hard this year, and we had to be at the top of our game. We were determined as a large ensemble of 70 not to leave without the “1”! All of the members of Chorale were so focused and really performed their best on Saturday. I am so proud of the hard work and dedication that each of these singers gave to choir.”
