Liberty’s Theatre Presents “Our Town”

Liberty Christian invites its families and guests from the surrounding communities to a live production of “Our Town,” the Pulitzer Prize winning drama from 1938.

Fine Arts Chair Misty Baptiste said, “I am so very proud of the work and dedication our students have shown. From the rookies to the veterans, the cast members have dedicated their time, energy, and heart into making this show a success. I cannot wait for the audiences to see the talent that Liberty has.”

The performances will be held at Liberty Christian located in Argyle at 1301 S. Hwy. 377, and show times are Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 25, at 3 p.m.

The cast of students includes stage managers Malyn Porter and Ross Earley, Ian Harber as Dr. Gibbs, Jacob Quast as Joe Crowell and Simon Stimson, Cole Carrick as Howie Newsome, Emmy Edwards as Mrs. Gibbs, Katelynn Pearson as Mrs. Webb, Austin Mann as George Gibbs, Lauren Massing as Rebecca Gibbs, Matt Mullen as Wally Webb, Catherine Harrington as Emily Webb, Hunter Snowden as Professor Willard and Constable Warren, Connor Devlin as Mr. Webb, Alexandra Stewart as Mrs. Soames, Bryan Gray as Si Crowell and Sam Craig, and Benn Hawkins and Cole Carrick as Joe Stoddard. The townspeople include students Rachel Morris, Gabby Marye, Hannah Johnson, Hailey Vittrup, Benn Hawkins, Hunter Snowden, and Bryan Gray. The baseball players are played by Bryan Gray, Benn Hawkins, Hunter Snowden, and Cole Carrick.

The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
