Students Give to Local Food Banks
Liberty Christian students donated more than 5,000 pounds of canned food to the Denton and Argyle Food Banks.
“Liberty is so proud of its students who go above and beyond and always come through for the community,” said Becky Shirley, teacher and Student Council sponsor.
Shirley said she heard a student say, “I wish we could stay here all day and help these people.”
Liberty’s Thanksgiving canned food drive began in 1992 and has brought in tons of food for families in the surrounding areas.
